For “High Performance New Construction” and detailed energy audit projects, we invest the time to model the building, processes and the existing equipment in detail. Based on this information we create a energy model of the building to analyze the proposed energy efficiency measures.

In existing building applications, to improve accuracy, historical energy consumption data is consolidated against the energy model. Accordingly we can produce detailed financial, technical and emissions analysis associated to the proposed measures. We believe in a wholistic approach towards performing comprehensive energy audits. In many cases, modifications made to one system or equipment affect other aspects of the building or facility. Therefore when studying efficiency measures, if high accuracy is desired, the measures can not be studied in isolation from one another.
