Our History & Journey
EnSmart Solutions was founded in 2009 by Ershad Kazemi, a professional engineer with a drive to address climate change through practical, results-oriented solutions. Based in Aurora, Ontario, the company began by delivering energy efficiency and sustainability consulting to commercial, industrial and municipal clients.
Early success came through strategic energy audits and data-informed conservation measures that reduced energy use and greenhouse gas emissions. In many cases, through application of lean principles, significant savings were achieved through low cost operational changes without the need for capital investment.
Over the years, we expanded our services to include high-performance buildings, fleet, water and wastewater, solid waste, climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies, ESG reporting and lean process optimization. Each offering reflects our commitment to delivering measurable value through practical innovation and technical excellence.
Today, EnSmart Solutions combines engineering rigour with entrepreneurial agility.
